Alumni

Research Interests

Papita is generally interested in studying the molecular functions of important chromatin interacting proteins and their regulatory mechanisms. In Prof. Fischle’s lab, her focus is on understanding the regulation of multivalent chromatin binding protein, UHRF1 via its allosteric regulator phosphatidylinositol 5-phosphate (PI5P) using in vitro biochemical, biophysical and structural biology approaches.
