Dr. Zobia is working as a postdoctoral researcher and interested in the histone related modification in chromatin structure and organization.

She completed her Master in Applied Microbiology from the University of Karachi and graduated with a PhD in Biochemistry from Hallym University, South Korea.

Dr. Zobia started her career as a Manager Publications in Bentham Science Publishers and also worked as a visiting lecturer at Federal Urdu University in Pakistan. After her PhD, she started her Postdoctoral research at Hallym University and extend her PhD work and study germ layer specific signaling pathways in the early development of Xenopus laevis. She also performed several Chip-Seq assays to solve the question raised in her PhD course.  After completing her Postdoctoral tenure at Hallym University of South Korea, she joined Gachon University as an Assistant Professor and later joined KAUST in March 2022.
